Finish carpentry is the detail work that separates a house from a home. Trim, shiplap, built-ins, mantels, paneled walls — the things that make a room feel intentional. These packages cover the most common finish carpentry projects we do, with real pricing you can plan around.
What's included in every finish carpentry project
• Full floor and furniture protection
• All materials, fasteners, and trim
• Precision cutting, fitting, and installation
• Caulk, filler, and paint-ready prep on every seam and nail hole
• Daily cleanup and final cleanup at project end
• Written warranty on workmanship

Perfect for: Homeowners who want to transform one room with a single high-impact feature. Shiplap behind the bed, board-and-batten in the entry, paneled wall in the dining room — the kind of project that changes a room in a weekend.
Scope: One accent wall, up to 200 sq ft
Price range: $3,000 – $10,500+
What affects the final price: Wall size, material (shiplap vs. board-and-batten vs. paneled), outlets and windows to work around, and paint-grade vs. stain-grade.
This package works great if you want to:
• Add character to a room without a full remodel
• Create a photo-worthy feature wall
• Test the waters before committing to a bigger finish project
• Typical completion: 1–4 days

Perfect for: Upgrading the trim and detail work throughout an entire room — baseboards, casing, crown, and optional wall detail. The fastest way to make a room feel finished.
Scope: Full trim package for one room (up to ~200 sq ft floor area): baseboards, door and window casing, crown molding
Price range: $3,500 – $9,000+
What affects the final price: Room size, linear feet of trim, profile complexity, ceiling height, and paint-grade vs. stain-grade.
This package works great if you want to:
• Replace builder-grade trim with something custom
• Match trim throughout a whole room for a cohesive look
• Prep a room for sale or a major refresh
• Typical completion: 3–6 days
Worth knowing
If you want this throughout the whole main level or upstairs, we'll build a combined quote that usually costs less per room than doing them one at a time.

Perfect for: Making one area the showpiece of your home. A custom fireplace surround with a mantel and flanking built-ins. A mudroom wall with lockers, bench, and hooks. An entertainment wall with shelving and cabinets. The kind of finish work guests notice the second they walk in.
Scope: One major built-in feature — fireplace wall, mudroom, entertainment center, bookshelves, or similar
Price range: $8,000 – $40,000+
What affects the final price: Size, material (paint-grade vs. stain-grade vs. mixed with stone or tile), integrated features (cabinets, drawers, lighting), and complexity of the existing space.
This package works great if you want to:
• Anchor a living room with a fireplace wall that does more than just hold a TV
• Turn a cluttered entryway into a functional mudroom
• Add storage AND style to a home office or family room
• Typical completion: 5–10 days

Perfect for: New builds, major remodels, and full-home refreshes. The complete trim package — every door, window, baseboard, crown run, and stair detail — handled as one coordinated scope.
Scope: Every room in the home
Price range: $25,000 – $90,000+
What affects the final price: Home size, trim profile complexity, number of doors and windows, stair details, paint-grade vs. stain-grade, and any custom ceiling or wall treatments.
This is the right choice if:
• You're building a new home and want the trim package done right the first time
• You're doing a major remodel and need consistent trim throughout
• You want one crew handling the entire finish scope — no coordination issues, no mismatched details
How it works
We walk the whole house with you (or with your builder and designer), map out every detail, and deliver a line-item quote. Most whole-house projects run 2–4 weeks of on-site work, scheduled around the rest of your build.
Additions that add character and value to any package:
Stain-grade upgrade
Use solid hardwood (oak, maple, cherry, walnut) instead of paint-grade. Adds 30–80% to material cost and increases labor due to precision finishing requirements.
Coffered or beamed ceiling
Add to any room for a high-end custom feel.
Basic beam detail: $4,000–$8,000
Coffered ceiling: $8,000–$20,000+
High-end custom: $20,000–$35,000+
Wainscoting
Add paneled lower walls to a dining room, hallway, or stairwell.
Basic box/panel: $30–$70 / LF
Raised panel / custom: $60–$120+ / LF
Crown molding profile upgrade
Move from standard profiles to stacked or custom-milled crown.
Stacked crown upgrade: +$10–$40 / LF
Custom/milled profiles: +$25–$75+ / LF
